This tutorial will guide you through creating a quick, basic age for URU. The bulk of the information is in a video taken at Mysterium 2008 of a live demonstration for creating an age.
Preparation
Before you begin, you will need to download and install the following tools:
- Blender PyPRP Plug-in (for exporting ages in URU format)
- Bryce v5.5 (for creating a terrain)
- Offline KI (for linking to your age)
Also, you will need to obtain your own unique "sequence prefix" for your new age.

Then open the age in Blender and export it.
